REL Realty Advisors (REL) is the partnership of Herbert Ratsch, George Lathouras and Renée Bellefleur. We are consultants, developers and transactors in the development of luxury amenity communities, private family compounds, carriage trade properties and select commercial assets.

REL functions as a trusted advisor, fiduciary, gatekeeper, eyes, ears and voice of our investors and our clients from due
diligence to conception to occupancy, to operation, or to disposition of Real Estate assets. REL is not a development
company in the traditional sense. We are facilitators who bring innovative ideas, best practices and the best
professionals together to support a bespoke approach to each Real Estate project to accomplish the stated objective.

Herbert Ratsch

I am purposeful, authentic, tenacious and humble.
​
As an established and trusted real estate broker and entrepreneur, I represent
some of the region’s most discerning buyers and sellers. I was among the first
brokers with Sotheby’s in Québec and spearheaded the opening of the Mont-
Tremblant office to better serve the Laurentians region.
​
Prior to settling in Mont-Tremblant, I was part of the senior management team at
Starters Sports Canada, where I worked closely with major leagues such as the
NFL, MLB, NHL, and CFL, developing lasting and valuable business relationships
worldwide. I later served as Vice-President of Intrawest’s Mont-Tremblant Resort
Reservation Network, as well as Sales Director and Vacation Rentals Director,
gaining extensive experience in the business side of luxury and resort real estate.

Over the past 20 years, I have cultivated deep local knowledge and relationships
while immersing myself in the luxury real estate market. My track record includes a
series of record-setting sales within and beyond the Laurentians, achieved through
strong negotiating skills, an extensive global network, and sharp real estate
acumen. Notably, I was a principal collaborator in the largest transaction ever
completed for the Sotheby’s brand in Canada, which also marked the sale of the
largest single parcel of land in the country, spanning 65,000 acres.


George Lathouras
Partner
I move fluidly between strategy and execution translating vision into concrete
scope, enforcing timelines and budgets, and holding professionals, contractors
and internal stakeholders accountable to world-class standards. I thrive on
honesty and trust.

Since moving to Québec’s Laurentians region 25 years ago, I have built the
second half of my career by applying the strict disciplines of commercial real
estate development. This expertise has evolved into a specialty consulting
practice representing high-net-worth and non-resident property owners in
managing and developing exceptional estates, family compounds, and trophy
properties.
​
In addition to my role at REL, I remain active in commercial development as an
investor and advisor in Quartier Metta, a major project in Laval, Québec,
developed in partnership with BMP Devco and Claridge Real Estate Inc. The
first phase alone covers 2.5 million square feet, with 650 planned residential
units and land sales generating more than $70 million in revenue.

Upon arriving in Mont-Tremblant, I served as President of Destination Land
Corporation, a privately held real estate development company, where I was
responsible for executing commercial and residential development strategies. I
later acquired the company’s Québec assets and successfully developed two
award-winning resort-residential projects in Mont-Tremblant: Rabaska and
L’Aiglon de Tremblant.
Renée Bellefleur
Director of Operations

I have a unique blend of operational excellence, strategic vision, and personalized service to the role of Operating Director, accumulated over a career of 30 years.
​
For more than a decade, I served as Operations Director in different environments, where overseeing large-scale production facilities, developed and implemented rigorous Standard Operating Procedures and ensured compliance with the highest industry standards.
​
Optimizing of workflows, improving efficiencies, and driving performance across complex operations are my forte.
​
Beyond corporate leadership, I have had the opportunity to closely with high-net-worth individuals as both a personal assistant to a prominent family and as property manager for luxury estates.
​
This experience honed my ability to anticipate needs, manage exceptional properties, and coordinate the very best professional services with discretion and precision.
​
Over the past 10 years I have applied these skills to various real estate development projects. I served as project manager for a major infrastructure entitlement and development project creating 248 lots for the construction of residences in Laval Quebec.
​
In my role as Director of Operations and Development with REL Realty Advisors, I colLaberated on the development of a 1000 acre private lake estate in Nominingue, obtaining development entiltements for a 2700 acre private lake estate in Amherst and project management of a 29,000 sf private residence on Lac Tremblant.

This combination of operational mastery and bespoke client service results in successful real estate development projects.
